Test Results and General Advice

|
X-ray results may take up
to two weeks to arrive at the practice.
Most other results take about a week
with the exception of smears (at least 8
weeks) and special blood tests. If you
wish to enquire about a result please do
so in the afternoon as the telephones
are extremely busy in the mornings.
If you are bringing specimens for test
please ensure that the clearly labelled
with your name and date of birth and
secured so that there is no leaking.
Please do not bring specimens for
testing without an instruction from a
doctor or nurse: we always need to know
medical details that help us decide what
test is needed.
