Fees Payable by Patients for Non-NHS Work
If a GP or nurse is asked to fill in a form or write a letter for non NHS work (e.g. medicals for work, insurance reports or “To Whom it May Concern” letters) then a fee will be payable.
In general, fees are based on the complexity of the form, report, or examination and are based on the time required for completion.
The Insurance staff are happy to advise patients of the cost of such work, prior to the doctors undertaking it.
Please note that the doctors no longer sign passport application forms.
